National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP)
The National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP) was established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to allow laboratories to be recognized for their proficiency in testing of lead in paint chips, dust, or soil.
Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA) has been awarded recognition by the EPA as a recognized accreditation body for the National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP). PJLA is now one of only three accrediting bodies recognized to award this accreditation. Since PJLA is a globally recognized accrediting body via the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to ISO 17011, PJLA can also award the coveted ISO 17025 accreditation at the same assessment.
